Activities

Activities and entertainment keep life lively for our residents and guests. Our friendly social programs staff members create activities and events to correspond to the needs and capabilities of each participant.  Keeping busy, active and engaged has a strong, favorable impact on healing!  Residents enjoy musical performances, birthday and holiday parties, movies, outings and more.

Residents and guests receive a monthly activities calendar that lets them know about scheduled events such as movies, musical performances, outings, birthday celebrations, etc.  Family and friends are encouraged to attend!

Dining

We are proud of the delicious meals prepared and served at Bridgeport Medical Lodge!  Each week, our residents enjoy homemade favorites like meatloaf, fried catfish, chicken fried steak, and roast beef with gravy, along with crisp salads, homemade soups and plenty of fresh vegetables.

Each new resident that joins us at Bridgeport Medical Lodge has an opportunity to meet with our dietitian to review their individual nutritional needs.  Consultation with medical staff is also part of this process. Any special dietary requirements are then arranged with our kitchen to ensure the resident’s meals conform to their physician’s guidelines.
